Created in Corel Painter IX

Another example of my love for Robin McKinley's novels, "Sunshine and Shadow" was inspired by her novel "Sunshine" in which the title character is kidnapped by vampires, to be fed to a vampire they're keeping prisoner. Instead of eating her, he lets her live, and instead of leaving him behind, she helps him escape (using her magic to make him immune to sunlight), thus breaking every rule both of their cultures follow.

My favorite part of this is the dust floating through the beams of light. :)

wow the light is beautiful, and the whole window section really draws the eye in.
