Artist's Comments

I was browsing the wallpaper gallery the other day and decided that there really wasn't anything in it that appealed to me (or fit my huge gigantic monitors). So I decided, for fun, to put together a quick wallpaper to share with all of YOU.

So here go: something a little devilish to decorate your machines. There are four different sizes in the wallpaper pack, ranging from the standard to the hugely gigantic.

Hopefully I uploaded this correctly.

Deliciously disturbing.

Lovely features on this one, Merc'. I'm fascinated by the curves and shadows and the faint hint of stubble. The limited colour range makes it feel all the more... sculpted. Masterful.

Nostalgic for 80s fantasy films. When glitter was cheap, monsters were muppets, and Evil was smexy.

It's funny how working in black and white will really make you think about that whole sculptural aspect. I tend to sculpt my paintings more than *paint* them a lot of the time: I'll start with sort of a midrange tone and then use different shades and colors and highlights to push or pull it forward or back.

And I looooove stubble. :D

btw, latest GND made me laugh, but I'm getting very worried about Jareth. Couldn't she give in just *once*?

Oh, how nice of you to "throw together" this piece. :P We really envy the skills. I love how it gives the impression of colors, when it's really only shades, and the detail, like in the curve of the horns, and the whisp of hair over the shoulder.

Look at what happens when we actually get the ARTIST in on this.
