A couple of weeks ago I was at Macworld Conference and Expo in San Francisco. While I was there I got to attend a really awesome painting seminar with Patrick McEvoy of Ninja Mountain Podcast fame. He did a little interview with me (it's not much), and they've put it up here (it's the last ten minutes or so of the podcast--though the first part of it is well worth a listen).

I've been finishing up a lot of commissions this last month, many of which I can't post due to NDAs and such. When I can, I will. This hasn't left me a lot of juice to work on my own stuff, so I've been writing instead. Hence the reason for the unnatural quiet from my corner of dA and the lack of updates.

Additionally... with only a few exceptions, when I look back at my work from last year I'm pretty dissatisfied with the level and quality of it, as compared to the year before. That's something I'm going to work on fixing. I'm not sure why, but I feel like the work I did in 2008 was a lot stronger than 2009. I have some theories on why that is, but nothing concrete. Mostly just a feeling.

I'll be posting a poll about some ideas I have for upcoming personal work pretty soon. Please come back and vote and let me know what you think?
